Doh! Boba Tea House was closed

I lost count of how many times I have received my 10 percent discount for wearing my Boba Tea House T-shirt.  We were going to treat the kids today, but it appears that they closed early.

Yeah.  We have saved a whole bunch, and some of it may have been money we would not have spent, but it is an occasional treat, so it is all good.

We will have to take a rain check on this one.  I usually post pictures on my photoblog, but here is one for you:

Boba Tea House Menu and Prices - Updated

I posted a couple of years ago pictures of the local Boba Tea House Menus. (You can view that post here)

It looks like the local Boba Tea House shop updated their menus and prices.  Here are pictures of the current fare.  These were taken with my phone and not my point-and-shoot.  I guess I was not prepared.

Used Boba Tea Shirt yesterday!

The sign wasn't posted, but the employee said that I still get 10 percent off of my order. Yeah!

Boba Tea House T-shirt gets me 10 percent discount!

I've posted the local Boba Tea House menu previously here.

Also, at the local "Tea House," I purchased a T-shirt.  I'm not sure if the promotion has a scheduled end-date.  It cost about $13.00.  The T-shirt is pretty nice.  The logo is actually embroidered and not silkscreen or printed.  From a financial perspective though, it appears that you will need to buy at least $130 worth of products to count it as "free" because at that point you will have saved around the $13.00.

I put "free" in quotes because it actually isn't free if you weren't planning on spending that kind of money (at least $130) at that store.  You never spend money just to save money....

Reminds of IRS tax deductions (not talking about credits).  You never want to "spend" money for the tax deduction.  Why spend $1,000 to save about $300 to $350 (Federal and State combined)?  You are still out more than $600.  Keep the $1,000.

The following two shots were taking (with verbal permission of course) of the local Boba Tea House. I can never remember what all they offer. So here it is for myself (and everyone else as well). You can click each picture to view the full-screen version.
