American Express really wants business!

Wow! I actually have to think about not taking this offer.  I am trying to read the fine print...

Apply (and of course be approved) for an American Express Premier Rewards card and spend $500 in the first 3 months and I get a $400 Home Depot Gift Card plus, they waive the annual fee of $175 for the first year.

Hmmmmm.....  I can still remember the person not choosing my pictures for Travel and Leisure magazine...

It's Easy to Start Enjoying the Benefits...

I received an invitation to get an American Express "Platinum" card in the mail.  It says:

"IT'S EASY TO START ENJOYING THE BENEFITS, REWARDS, AND SERVICES OF THE PLATINUM CARD TODAY"

All for the annual fee of only $450 for the first card, $175 for the next 3 additional cards, and then $175 thereafter for each additional card.

Hmmmmm... not at this time.
