AARP: When the Sun Makes You Sick

As summer is well under way, here is an interesting read about how the sun can make you sick.

Make sure that you and the kids wear some sort of sunblock whenever they are out in the sun.  I know there is some debate between titanium dioxide, zinc oxide and Helioplex, but something is better than nothing.

The feature lists a large number of medications that can cause reactions when you are in the sun.  For the complete list, read it one their site.

Environmental Working Group - Which Sunscreen?

Heard about their site earlier today.  They have a section just for parents.

Here's a section on Sunscreen usage. Click here to go directly to their best/worst lists (which is searchable).  Important to read since the sunny months are on their way.
